Q4: How
does the Itinerary Planner work?
The Itinerary Planner gives an approximate number of
kms that the entire trip would require based on your
inputs. Though the Itinerary Planner has given accurate
results for most of the trips, however it cannot guarantee
that the trip would conclude with in the kms that it
calculates. There could be instances where the trip
might take more kms than what the Itinerary Planner
calculated. There are some examples provided which would
make the Itinerary Planner clearer. Also, the Itinerary
Planner concentrates only on the number of days for
which the car is needed for local use and the number
of outstation trips that are needed to be made; it does
not care in what order the trip is actually executed.
Please, see Pick
up location is Others and the car is needed for both
Local/Within City Use and for making Outstation trips
for more details about planning and actually executing
the trip..

Q7: How to create an itinerary when you need to be picked
from the railway station and need the car to use in
the same city for three days?
Railway Station pick up in Aurangabad, Maharastra
and the car is needed for Local/With in City Use for
3 days:
After choosing the pick up from the Railway Station
on the front page, go to Local/Within city use section
and fill in the details. The snap shot below shows the
case where the car is needed for Local/Within City use
for 3 days and on one of the days (not necessarily the
first day) the car is needed for 10hrs/100kms, and on
the others for 8hrs/80kms and 6hrs/60kms. Below would
come the snap shot. Note, that since the average per
day for the three days is 8hrs/80kms, hence the 6hrs/60kms
will not be changed. But if instead of 10hrs/100kms,
it were 8hrs/80kms, the 6hrs/60kms would have been changed
to 8hrs/80kms so that the average per day is a minimum
of 8hrs/80kms for 3 days.
After that the Itinerary Planner would guide through
the rest of the steps which includes reviewing the itinerary,
selecting the car and booking the car by providing the
payment information.

Q8: How to create an itinerary when you need the car for few local days as well as outstation
days and not sure which cities you would want to visit?
This is how one can plan a default trip which would
consist of minimum kms for the number of days for which
the car is needed.
Pickup City : Patna
Pickup Location : Railway Station
Total days for the trip : 5
Local days : 2
Outstation days : 3
The minimum hrs/kms for local days are 8rs/80kms (full
day). The minimum kms for outstation trip per day for
Patna is 250kms. So, you would be charged for 16hrs/160kms
for 2 local days and 750kms for the 3 days for which
you want to do outstation trips. This is shown below
in the snapshot.
After that the Itinerary Planner would guide through
the rest of the steps which includes reviewing the itinerary,
selecting the car and booking the car by providing the
payment information.

Q9: How to create an itinerary when the pick up location
is railway station and the car is needed to make outstation
trip to two different cities?
Railway
Station pick up and the car is needed to make two outstation
trips:
The snap shot below shows the following itinerary:
Pickup City : Bangalore
Pickup location : Railway Station
Two day Outstation trip : Two day back and forth
trip to Chennai.
One day trip : One day back and forth trip to
Mysore.
Please, note that the order in which trips are planned
can be different than the order in which the trips are
executed. Here in this example though the first day
trip is to be made to Chennai while executing one can
execute the Mysore trip first.
After that the Itinerary Planner would
guide through the rest of the steps which includes reviewing
the itinerary, selecting the car and booking the car
by providing the payment information. |

Q10: How to create an itinerary when the pick up is some
location with in a city and the car is needed for making
trips to other cities as well as for use in the same
city for few days?
Pick
up location is Others and the car is needed for both
Local/Within City Use and for making Outstation trips:
The snap shot below shows the following itinerary:
Pickup location : Some place in Chennai
First day : Local/Within City Use for
8hrs/80kms
Second day : One day Outstation trip to Tirupati
Third day : Local/Within City Use for 8hrs/80kms
Fourth day : One day outstation trip to Vellore
Fifth day : Local/Within City Use for 8hrs/80kms
Please, note that the Itinerary Planner doesnt care
for the order in which the trip is executed; the important
thing is that the trip consists of one outstation trip
to Vellore, one Outstation trip to Tirupati and 3 days
of Local/Within City Use of 8hrs/80kms each. And so,
the days in which the Outstation trips are executed
can be changed.
After that the Itinerary Planner would guide through
the rest of the steps which includes reviewing the itinerary,
selecting the car and booking the car by providing the
payment information.

Q11: How the (minimum) kms for the outstation trip will be
charged if the trip consists of some local days and
some outstation trips?
Pick
up location is Others and the car is needed for local
city use as well as making outstation trips.
Pickup location : Some location within the New Delhi
Total number of days : 8
Total number of local days : 2
So, total number of days for which the outstation
trips would be made is : 6
Trips to make : Delhi to Chandigrah, Chandigarh
to Patiala, Patiala to Amritsar, Amritsar to Delhi
The snap shot shows the planning for these outstation
trips. Also, note that the itinerary review page shows
1200kms for the outstations trips. This is how it is
calculated.
Total kms for making the outstation trips : 1038kms
Minimum kms per day for outstation trips from New
Delhi : 200kms
Total number of outstation days : 6
So, minimum outstation kms for 6 days would be : 6 * 200 = 1200kms
Hence, the total kms charged for the outstation days
would be 1200kms.
After that the Itinerary Planner would guide through
the rest of the steps which includes reviewing the itinerary,
selecting the car and booking the car by providing the
payment information. |

Q12: How to plan a trip when one of the cities that an outstation
trip is to be made is unavailable?
Pick
up city: Mumbai
Pick up Location: Domestic Airport
Total number of days: 2
First day: Mumbai to Pune
Second day: Pune to Latur
As can be seen in the snapshot below, only trip from
Mumbai to Pune is planned since Latur is unavailable.
This is how the kms that would be charged for the trip
are calculated:
Total kms from Mumbai to Pune and back : 358kms
Minimum kms per day for oustation trips from Mumbai: 200kms
So, minimum kms for the outstation trip for 2 days from
Mumbai: 400kms. Hence, 400 kms would be charged for
the trip. Charges for any extra km not calculated by
the Itinerary Planner (which would be because of the
trip to Latur) would be payable to the chauffeur directly.z
After that the Itinerary Planner would guide through
the rest of the steps which includes reviewing the itinerary,
selecting the car and booking the car by providing the
payment information.

Q17: Why you can not book the
car for today?
We need a couple of days to make the arrangements for your itinerary and
hence we allow to make the trip only after 2 days from today. Also, in
some cases, it might be necessary because of the time difference between
India and your country.
