With the entire world together surviving the lockdown, travel bans were the first to feel the hit. So many of us had plans to travel, so many of us had places to be, and with all of that canceled now we are all locked at home waiting for this apocalypse-like situation to end. Honestly, we\u2019re itching to travel. We\u2019re itching to take out our bags, throw in some clothes, and hit the roads like none of this ever happened. The streets that bustled with life now look dead. Painfully quiet. Who knew the world could even look like this! While there is much to reflect upon and so much more to consider once all of this is over, but we cannot stop thinking about the super cool places we want to travel to. Here’s our not too elaborate bucket list!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Mawphlang, Meghalaya<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We cannot wait to breathe in lungs full of fresh air in this quaint little hamlet in Meghalaya. Months of being cooped up in the house have certainly brought us to the brink of insanity,  and there is no better way to heal the mind and body than by being in one of the greenest and nature\u2019s most alive corners. One of the best ways of exploring Mawphlang is by visiting the dense forests with a local and unearthing ancient folk stories. While there, do visit the Khasi Heritage Village set up by the district council. Their tribal huts and artifacts are worth traveling all the distances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Goa<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Oh, we know it\u2019s going to be super hot in Goa, but months of lockdown has robbed us of our party scenes. Like for real! Absolutely clean, alcohol-free days. The monotonous schedule of robotically waking up, cooking breakfast, cleaning, washing and also managing a full-time job with no place to go to has been a little too difficult for folks who partied every week before the lockdown was imposed. So once this #CoronaBeGone, we cannot wait to bring out the party animal in us, and there is no place else that can satiate Satan\u2019s appetite but Goa. We hope the alcohol is still dirt cheap after the lockdown is over. God, be kind! Here’s a guide to Goa’s epic nightlife.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Bir Billing, Himachal Pradesh<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If there is one thing we have learned during this lockdown is perhaps the fact that life is precious! Stepping out is a privilege, to be able to enjoy nature is a blessing. How one tiny deadly virus practically shut down the entire world, was baffling, to say the least! And when all of this is gone, we cannot wait to celebrate life, nature, and the little things. Gliding through the soft winds, admiring the towering mountains, and the stunning view beneath; the hopeless nature lover in us cannot wait. Anymore!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Gokarna, Karnataka <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Gokarna should be on everyone’s bucket list. This is a perfect place for people who cannot make up their mind if they want to head to the mountains or beaches. This quaint little corner in Karnataka is a beautiful mix of both. From crazy trekking, clean beaches to the best offbeat experience; Gokarna is one of our personal favorites down south. 5. Jim Corbett National Park, Uttarakhand<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are sick of the monotony all around us, tired of our concrete cages. A little break in the wild, admiring nature’s most beautiful creations sounds like something we all can look forward to and get excited about. Head to one of India\u2019s largest national parks blessed with the best of Uttarakhand\u2019s beauty. Do not miss out on the jungle safari.
