Savaari Car Rentals is finally back<\/strong> on the roads. We are delighted to announce that we have resumed<\/strong> our services in all 130 cities from May 4<\/strong>. Respecting the lockdown 4.0 directives<\/a> from the Government of India, here is a list of the services that are operational now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inter-city: Round-trip and One-ways<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Inter-city travel is now permitted within the same state<\/strong> but a valid travel pass will be needed for inter-state travel.<\/strong> However, some states like Maharashtra<\/strong>, Gujarat<\/strong>, Tamil Nadu<\/strong> have not allowed inter-city movement as yet due to the high number of containment zones in their respective cities. Inter-district travel:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Travel restrictions between districts in the same state have been uplifted to allow both private vehicles as well as cabs<\/strong>. Travel within cities, i.e, inter-district travel does not require a travel pass<\/strong>.
COVID worst affected states such as Maharashtra<\/strong>, Tamil <\/strong>Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat will allow movement between districts only with an official travel pass. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inter-state travel:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Travel between states is handled cautiously by the respective state governments. for any form of inter-state travel, travellers compulsorily require a travel pass <\/strong>
Please note, certain inter-state borders have been sealed that completely block movement. Examples include Karnataka-Maharashtra, Karnataka-Tamil Nadu, Gujarat-Rajasthan and Maharashtra-Gujarat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intra-city: Local 4 hr\/40 km, 8 hr\/80 km and 12 hr\/120 km <\/strong>rentals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Movement of all private vehicles including cabs\/taxis are completely allowed in areas falling under non-containment zones. <\/strong>Travel in such cases is permitted even without a travel pass.<\/strong>
However, states such as Maharashtra<\/strong>, Tamil Nadu<\/strong>, Uttar Pradesh <\/strong>and Gujarat <\/strong>having a high density of containment zones, will not allow movement except for those with a valid travel pass.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Airport Transfers: Pickup and Drop Services<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As per the announcement made by the Ministry of Aviation<\/a>, India is ready to resume domestic flights from May 25 onwards. Logically extending this, Savaari’s Airport transfers will also resume from May 25 onwards<\/strong>. You will have to check whether the airport that you are planning to fly from or land at is exempted from the government lockdown. Furthermore,  we request our customers to plan their travel at least 12 hours in advance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
