Lalbagh Botanical Garden One of the oldest parks in Bangalore, Lalbagh houses one of the four watch towers build by Kempegowda to mark the boundaries of the city. Bangalore Palace This 19thCentury castle was built by Reverend J Garrett and then bought by the Wodeyars, Mysore’s royal family. You can take guided tours through the palace and learn about its history. Where to eat in Bangalore Vidyarthi Bhavan One of the oldest south Indian food joints located in Basavangudi famous for its dosas. It may take you quite some time to get a seat here, but we assure you it’s worth it. The Only Place One of Bangalore’s oldest establishments, The Only Place is known for its excellent continental fare. Don’t forget to try the sumptuous apple pie here.
