Sanjay Gandhi National Park also known as the Borivali National Park is a large protected area in the region of northern Mumbai. The National Park attracts huge number of visitors throughout the year and is surrounded by three sides of Mumbai. Flora and Fauna is what that attracts the tourists to this park. One can also visit the very old Kanheri caves when on an outing to Sanjay Gandhi National Park. Dr.Bhau Daji Lad Museum is one of the oldest Museums in Mumbai. It is situated in Byculla East and was established in the year 1855. The museum is well known for its exhibitions and unique collections. One can visit this museum on all days except Wednesday between 10 AM to 5:30 PM. The construction of this building started in the year 1862 and was completed in the year 1871. This museum houses a large number of archaeological finds, maps and historical photographs of Mumbai, clay models, silver and copper ware and costumes.
Marine Drive is a 3.6-kilometre-long boulevard in South Mumbai in the city of Mumbai. . Marine Drive is one of the best areas of Mumbai and has many beautiful promenades along the road. The citizen come and takes in the breath of fresh air and view the setting sun. At the north end of Marine Drive there is a Chowpatty Beach which is famous for Bhel Puri. Marine Drive has connecting road between the central business district located at Nariman Point and the rest of the city. It is also known as the Queen's Necklace because if viewed at night from an elevated point anywhere along the drive, the street lights resemble a string of pearls forming a necklace. You can go to either end of Marine Drive after sunset and see the lights glowing in a perfect arc all along the coast.
